Conservation Status
The conservation status in South Africa is pretty good. Many Nature Reserves, Conservation Areas, and Private Game Farms have been established. For example, Pilanesberg National Park conserves many types of plants, and is home to many endangered species. (http://www.worldwildlife.org/ecoregions/at0717)
Humans Impact on Environment
There is not many obstacles to the plant life in the Savannah of South Africa. The biggest problem caused by humans the African Savanna faces is urban expansion and ranching. Urban Expansion forces the organisms to move out of their habitat. (http://www.worldwildlife.org/ecoregions/at0717)
Environmental Issues
In South Africa, many fires occur in the Savanna. Fires help prevent a Savanna from becoming a Rainforest. (http://www2.newcanaan.k12.ct.us/education/components/scrapbook/default.php?sectiondetailid=11272)
